In a supportive environment, you will reflect on your goals and values, practice specific skills in role-plays and exercises, and learn how to communicate clearly and consistently with your children in the face of normal, everyday challenges. You’ll leave with practical strategies that you can implement immediately to improve communication and discipline and enhance your relationships at home.

SUNDAY INTENSIVE FORMAT: For busy parents who simply cannot fit a weekly series into your schedule, this workshop presents the same tools and strategies of the How To Talk approach in one day!

“I just attended a workshop with Julie King. It is LIFE-CHANGING. Truly, these methods are novel and they feel a little weird sometimes but I cannot BELIEVE how well they work. It is almost like I came home to different kids!…

“Anyway, if any of you parents out there need some new approaches, I highly recommend Julie and her book, and if you can swing it, one of her trainings. It’s different being in a group discussion than just reading a book when you are about to go to sleep.”

“This workshop was WONDERFUL! It was so helpful to talk to Julie and hear her wise and experienced take on so many of the struggles that we go through as parents to little children every day. She has such a graceful way to help us see the impact of our words on our children and how we can shift our thinking and way we speak to really help them be problem solvers and want to cooperate. I highly recommend it!”
